Family Residency Visas
(Please note that the information below only applies to residents of the UAE).

To facilitate the presence of family members residing outside the UAE, start by applying for an entry residence visa. Within 30 days of their arrival, proceed to apply for the residence stamp. It’s essential to meet the criteria of a monthly salary of not less than AED 4,000 (or AED 3,000 with accommodation). Should you wish to support a residence visa for your parents, your minimum monthly salary should be AED 20,000 (or AED 19,000 with a two-bedroom accommodation).
Required documentation includes:
- Typed application form.
- Provide a salary certificate (for government employees) or an attested work contract (for other employees).
- Submit three months of the most recent bank statement for long-time residents; new residents may provide the most recent month but must accompany it with a bank letter confirming salary transfer.
- Attested tenancy contract, Emirates ID card, and labour card.
- Marriage certificate attested by UAE authorities (for UAE marriages) or attested in your home country for spouse sponsorship.
- Present original passports and copies for both the sponsor and family member(s).
- Medical checkup reports for spouses or children over 15 years of age from an authorized hospital or clinic.
- Three passport photos for each family member.
Please note that for your family member’s residence visa to remain valid, they must not be out of the UAE for more than six months. Additionally, if a Muslim expatriate has married more than one wife, only one residence visa can be obtained.
