Family Visa in UAE

Eligibility Criteria
In order to sponsor your family members for a residency visa, you must fulfil the following criteria
- A monthly salary of AED 4,000 (or AED 3,000 with accommodation) is required to sponsor a spouse or children.
- A monthly salary of AED 20,000 (or AED 19,000 with a two-bedroom accommodation) is required to sponsor parents.
- If you're a Muslim expatriate with multiple wives, only one spouse can be sponsored for a residence visa.
Application Process
1. Apply for an entry residence visa for your family members residing outside the UAE.
2.Within 30 days of their arrival, proceed to apply for the residence stamp.
VAT Returns
Ensure you have the following documents ready:
• Typed application form.
• Salary certificate (for government employees) or attested work contract (for other employees).
• Bank statement: Three months for long-time residents, the most recent month for new residents, accompanied by a bank letter confirming salary transfer.
• Attested tenancy contract, Emirates ID card, and labour card.
• Marriage certificate: Attested by UAE authorities for UAE marriages or attested in the home country for spouse sponsorship.
• Passports: Original and copies for both sponsor and family member(s).
• Medical checkup reports for spouses or children over 15 years of age from an authorized hospital or clinic.
• Three passport photos for each family member.
Conditions for Visa Validity
To maintain the validity of your family member’s residence visa:
• Ensure they do not stay out of the UAE for more than six months.
